About ANT-X

ANT-X is an Italian engineering company developing autonomous aerial systems for education, research and demanding real-world operations.

WHO WE ARE

Research roots, engineering discipline

ANT-X is a spin-off company of Politecnico di Milano, based in Milan. The company originates from experience in aerospace control systems, flight robotics and UAV experimentation, and develops aerial systems that connect research-grade methods with practical deployment needs.

From laboratories to operational contexts

ANT-X works across learning platforms, research systems and operational aerial systems. Its role is to turn autonomy, sensing and platform integration into usable systems: testable in the laboratory, validated in flight and adaptable to real applications.

ENGINEERING CULTURE

How we work

The common thread across ANT-X activities is an engineering culture based on rigorous development, experimental validation and responsible system integration.

Scientific rigor

Methods and decisions grounded in modelling, control, navigation, simulation and experimental evidence.

Experimental validation

A strong focus on real platforms, flight testing, data and reproducible laboratory workflows.

System integration

Airframes, payloads, software and mission requirements treated as parts of one coherent aerial system.

Operational responsibility

Attention to reliability, documentation, safety and deployment constraints in demanding environments.

ECOSYSTEM

Tools, partners and communities

ANT-X operates within an ecosystem that connects academic research, industrial software tools and open-source flight technologies.
